December 6 2021

The term “aquaculture” (from the Latin aqua – water and culture – breeding) is a type of agricultural activity associated with the artificial breeding, maintenance and cultivation of hydrobionts in fully or partially controlled conditions for the production of aquaculture products. Therefore, a characteristic feature of activities in the field of aquaculture, compared to other areas of agriculture, is the use of water resources, and accordingly, the basis for conducting aquaculture is the right to use water resources.
